LOOKING FOR JUAN (THIRD SET)

"Dreaming of Dada" by Roel Obemio
36"x48" acrylic on canvas
PhP 72,000.00

Upon sight of Roel Obemio's "Dreaming with Dada," one wonders whether father and son are simply asleep in a meticulously decorated nursery or in a park while the scenery is interspersed with the elements of their dreams. Such is the Obemio signature—detail-filled canvases also rich in color, lightness despite the rotund figures and always, an unmistakable innocence, cuteness even.
